The Zonta Club of New Providence is launching “She Rises Up,” a powerful three-phase project designed to empower women and girls through storytelling, dialogue, and community engagement. With a long-standing commitment to advancing the status of women in The Bahamas, the club has supported initiatives ranging from scholarships and workforce readiness programs to health workshops and advocacy against gender-based violence.

The project begins with a gala event featuring a film screening, panel discussion, and networking to highlight the strength and resilience of women. The second phase brings the film to high school girls, creating a platform for conversation and confidence-building. The final phase extends screenings to Family Islands, ensuring that young women across The Bahamas have access to its inspiring message.

Through film and discussion, "She Rises Up" seeks to uplift women and girls, encouraging them to embrace their potential, find their voices, and build a future where they can thrive.
