Development
Our outgoing strategy, Innovations for Human Flourishing, has been focused on research aimed at improving key aspects of human flourishing.
Development supports translating findings into practical innovations such as new practices or interventions. Later stages include testing innovations in real-world conditions and tool development. These kinds of projects are often funded under Priorities and Previous Priorities: Global Innovations for Character Development, The Science of Religious and Spiritual Exercises, and Big Questions in Classrooms.
Supporting research on the contribution of character strengths to human flourishing.
Expanding scientific understanding of the impact of these practices on individuals, and supporting spiritual innovations to promote human flourishing.
