Building on connections that were drawn at the inaugural Global Scientific Conference on Human Flourishing, Global Health Strategies aims to craft and execute an open call for abstracts program with a robust promotion plan that leverages a budding community of human flourishing researchers. The primary goals of this open abstract program are to:
• inclusively recruit research abstracts from scientists globally,
• manage a rubric-driven selection jury process to find the most compelling and current research on human flourishing,
• produce high quality audience experiences with a virtual poster hall, website, spotlight talks, and media, and
• strategically market these experiences.
The abstract program will be a critical component of the overall conference program. The call for abstracts will be open to scientific researchers inclusive of all academic disciplines and irrespective of affiliation with TWCF. Abstracts will be judged on merit by a global expert review panel, and the highest scorers will be invited to contribute a digital poster to a virtual exhibition hall within the conference platform. In select cases, high-scoring authors will also be invited to deliver short spotlight talks that are streamed as part of the conference program. Winning abstracts (number and criteria to be determined) will also receive a financial prize.
