Institution Spirit of America Worldwide

Spirit of America provides life-saving supplies, gear, and humanitarian relief to Ukrainian soldiers and civilian volunteers. By working closely with US military and State Department partners they are helping to meet the urgent needs of Ukrainians defending freedom and democracy. Since 2015, Spirit of America has provided assistance in support of Ukraine’s freedom and democracy. Their past work in Ukraine and their relationships with US embassies and military commands in Europe make the organization well-positioned to respond to this current crisis. Since March 1, 2022, Spirit of America has been on the ground in the region, providing aid to the front lines in real time, delivering assistance to Ukraine’s civilian volunteers, and ensuring humanitarian aid and rescue is available in areas most severely impacted.

A grant from Templeton World Charity Foundation will fund the time, travel, and on-the-ground expenses for Spirit of America’s project personnel.
