Ideas Database: Innovative Opportunities for Funders
What do you do when you have more ideas then you're able to fund? You help share them with the world in the hopes that others can be inspired and help these ideas grow into funded opportunities.
More than 500 teams of scientists from over 350 academic institutions across the world answered Templeton World Charity Foundation's Grand Challenges for Human Flourishing request for ideas, which pushed beyond traditional measures of physical and mental health to include happiness, meaning and purpose, spiritual well-being and striving in adversity. As our organization prioritizes what to fund, we wanted to offer others the opportunity to learn more about—and possibly fund—the expansive ideas we collected from researchers in Human Flourishing.
