Jennifer Templeton Simpson

Jennifer Templeton Simpson is the Chair of the Board of Trustees of TWCF. She is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in English literature, and received a master's degree from Columbia University in social work with a concentration on international social welfare policy. 

Anne C Petersen, PhD

Anne Petersen is Research Professor, University of Michigan, Center for Human Growth & Development,
Africa Studies Center STEM initiative, and S&T Policy Program, Ford Policy School. She is Founder/President of
Global Philanthropy Alliance, a foundation making grants in Africa.

Mary Ann Glendon, J.D.

Mary Ann Glendon is the Learned Hand Professor of Law at Harvard University, and a former U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Supervisors of the Vatican Bank. The author of several books in the fields of human rights, comparative law, constitutional law, and political theory, she is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a recipient of the National Humanities Medal.

Carl J. Schramm, Ph.D.

Carl Schramm is University Professor at Syracuse University and former president of the Ewing Kauffman Foundation, the world’s largest philanthropy dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship with a $2 billion endowment.

Nidhal Guessoum, Ph.D.

Nidhal Guessoum is Professor of Physics at American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California at San Diego, and was a post-doctoral researcher at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. He has held academic positions in Algeria and Kuwait, and has also been a visiting professor or researcher at several institutions in France and the USA, in additions to collaborations with colleagues from around the world.

Jeffrey Schloss, Ph.D.

Jeffrey Schloss is T.B. Walker Chair & Distinguished Professor of Biology at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. He received his Ph.D. in ecology and evolutionary biology from Washington University and has taught at the University of Michigan, Wheaton College, and Jaguar Creek Tropical Research Center.

​Jeffrey S. Dill, Ph.D.

Jeffrey Dill is Affiliate Professor of Sociology and Liberal Studies in the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University. He is also the Donchian Research Fellow for Character and Culture at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at the University of Virginia.

Jeffrey Everett, CFA

Jeff Everett is Co-Chief Investment Officer for the Invesco Global Core Equity team, along with Ron Sloan. He is a seasoned leader of global and international equity teams, with nearly 30 years of investment management experience, and has worked in the Bahamas, United States and China.

Rory Knight, Ph.D.

Chairman of Oxford Metrica, a strategic advisory firm. He previously served two terms as Dean of Templeton College, Oxford, where he worked closely with Sir John Templeton for more than 10 years and was responsible for the college’s overall strategy and direction.

Avery Lloyd

Avery Lloyd is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a master’s degree in fine arts and a bachelor’s degree in history. She obtained her teaching certification through Catawba College and taught both history and English in Salisbury, North Carolina, and at Guilford Technical College. For 10 years, Ms. Lloyd ran her own florist and decorative accessories store in Salisbury, North Carolina.
